As the year 2023 came to a close, the food delivery service apps in Latin America continued to serve a substantial number of users on the iOS platform. Data sourced from Sensor Tower provides a snapshot of how five key players performed during the fourth quarter.

iFood: pedir delivery em casa, based in Brazil, saw its downloads peak at 124K in early October before experiencing a gradual decline to 85K by the end of December. The app's weekly active users started strong at around 2.5M but showed a slight dip, ending the quarter at approximately 2.3M.

Rappi: Market and Food Online, hailing from Colombia, demonstrated a steady download trend with numbers fluctuating around the 60K to 70K mark, closing the quarter with a spike to nearly 68K. Revenue for the app remained consistent, with slight increases, ending the quarter at around $26. Weekly active users saw a modest decline from 1.17M to just under 1.08M.

The French-based PedidosYa - Delivery App observed its download figures hovering in the 40K range, with a notable rise to 44K at the end of October and 43K by the year's end. Weekly active users appeared relatively stable, maintaining a base of around 700K throughout the quarter.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery, by Uber Technologies in the US, recorded downloads in the 30K to 40K range, with a notable increase to 43K in early December. The app's weekly active users initially remained above 530K, peaking at 553K in early November before a decline, finishing at around 469K.

Lastly, Vivino: Buy the Right Wine, although not a typical food delivery service, is included for its related service in delivering wine. The Denmark-based app saw its revenue grow towards the end of the quarter, reaching $6.55K in the last week of December. Downloads showed an upward trend, particularly in mid-December with nearly 9.5K, concluding the quarter with 8.7K. Active users experienced growth in the final weeks, ending at just over 48K.
